UV DTF transfer (gang sheet) on UV DTF gang-sheet / shop RIP (PNW Print Co workflow)
communitySurface prep
Artwork: sharp edges; no neon glow/transparency/soft fades; min line thickness 0.025 in
Layer order
White underbase (choked inside color) → Color → Varnish bleed outside artwork
White layers
RIP chokes white slightly smaller than design to prevent white outline
CMYK layers
1
Varnish
Printed slightly larger than artwork (bleed) to seal edges and add gloss
Print mode
Gang sheet; leave 0.2–0.25 in between designs because varnish overlaps edges
Durability
Varnish bleed seals edges and prolongs transfer life; thin lines may not transfer
Notes
PNW describes its own RIP choke/bleed behavior (not universal). White required for opacity on dark/glass; without white, colors can be invisible on dark substrates.
